But I have been all over the place with what I create. This is not a bad thing-we are created to create! How cool is it that we all get to try different things as we walk this life's path.

I loved to draw when I was younger. In high school I took the art path which led to a degree in design in college. Professionally, I worked as a display designer for IKEA, as a package designer for a manufacturer, and as a set designer for HSN. (Quick side note: I really wanted to be a hand model for HSN, but sadly, my hands are not up to such a high calling.)

Fast forward many years and two kids ago, I now own a handlettering design business. I specialize in traditional and digitized handlettering. Recently, I started to share my enthusiasm for lettering through the classroom experience. Everyone has their own style --you have been practicing writing most of your life! With some specialized instruction and practice, you can hand letter too!
